Volunteer Position Title: Our Market Mobile is in need
Volunteer Time Frame: December 31, 2019

Volunteer Position Description:

The typical schedule our Market Mobile runs and works with.
Go to Loblaws, Fresh Co, Food Basics and other to buy food with Project Officer.
Sort out produces for the 3 market days.
Set-up for the market (Put produce on shelves, put produce in order for markets, put price signs, verify price list, put up outside price list).
Set up the market, greet and talk to customers, write customer’s receipts, and restock the shelves at the end of the market.
Putting all the produces in the fridge of the Food Bank. Cleaning the trailer and market material.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Heavy Lifting (more than 10lbs at a time)
  • Interacting with the public / in a group setting
  • Outdoor Activities
