Mission: The Glebe Centre is a not for profit long term care home offering services for both long term care residents and community support for clients living within our catchment area. We draw inspiration from our long history of excellence in care and innovation. We are a 254 bed facility providing nursing care and programs designed to meet the physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of older adults living in our home. We advocate for a strong collective voice from clients, residents, families, staff, volunteers and community partners.

Volunteer Position Description: Our community support component at The Glebe Centre (Abbotsford House) is currently looking for someone with a great deal of computer knowledge to support staff on Friday mornings from 8:30 – noon. The applicant should be proficient on a computer and keen to learn and suggest new ideas. There would be some administrative duties with this position.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Police Record Check
  • Desktop publishing skills would be an asset.
