Mission: Established in 2014, the Canadian Centre for Men and Families (CCMF) is a hub for the health and well-being of boys, men, fathers and families. The Centre is an open, inclusive and safe space, providing therapy and counselling, peer support, a legal clinic, fathering programs, mentorship and support services for male victims of trauma and violence. We provide services, research, advocacy, outreach and public education on all aspects of men’s issues.
Volunteer Position Description: CCMF Ottawa is a subsidiary of C.A.F.E (Canadian Association for equality) which is a registered charity with branches in many cities of Canada. We rely on donations and grants to run the programs at this Centre. No specific qualification required for an experienced /trained candidate. We have some volunteers working on the applications and need to build a good team to do this job. If you have any queries, don’t hesitate to send an email at the above address. We would prefer a candidate who has training or experience, or both with writing grants with any organization before.
