Mission: To provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.

The Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa (BGCO) has served the Ottawa community since 1923, reaching out to 4,500 children and youth each year through after-school, weekend and summer programs that build self-esteem and help to develop stronger social skills.

Volunteer Position Description: Clubhouse volunteers are at the front lines of our organization. Their role is to assist our staff in programming for our members aged 6-18. This includes supervising our members, helping to plan and execute activities or just playing and having fun. Our members look up to volunteers as role models in their lives, it is always great when volunteers can offer support and guidance.
