Mission statement: Supporting the Ottawa community to welcome people with intellectual disabilities to live, work and play as valued citizens.

Volunteer description: This opportunity is basically a few volunteers and a few clients (who we call members), going out to do something fun together. Every Friday we host 6-10 activities all around the city. Things like movies, dinner, festivals, pub nights, theatre, sporting events, concerts and much more. This opportunity is flexible, volunteers can pick and choose which dates they’d like to take part and where and what they would like to do, we just as that volunteers commit to at least one Friday a month.

Volunteer position requirements:
▪ Police Record Check
▪ Minimum 19 years of age
▪ Interacting with the public in a group setting
