Mission statement: Helping the Ottawa community welcome people with intellectual disabilities to live, work, and play as valued citizens.

Volunteer description: Work with staff and volunteers to support social outings on Friday nights for small groups of adults (18 +) who have an intellectual disability. The goal is to get to know the people and build relationships.

Volunteer position requirements:

  • Police Record Check
  • Interacting with the public in a group setting
  • Must be available (minimum) one Friday night per month
