Mission statement: Algonquin College Campus Ministry (ACCM) seeks to bring a Christian dimension to college life. Our ministry is designed to address such issues as faith, spirituality, peace, justice, security, technology and science, ethics, and interpersonal and social relationships. Our team seeks to strengthen and support the Christian community on campus while respecting and appropriately engaging people of other faiths and worldviews. ACCM seeks to welcome all students and staff and aims to enrich their Algonquin experience with appropriate counsel, educational programs and community events.

Volunteer description: Advocacy Leaders will be representing Christian Ministry at Algonquin College by running info desks around campus and sharing information with students and making students aware of Christian programs, activities at the college and signing students up for participation. Advocacy Leaders will also assist Campus Ministers in organizing prayers, worship, fellowship, social events, suppers, discussion groups, and service projects.
