Weston Family Scholarship in the Skilled Trades

The Weston Family Foundation generously supported a total of 182 Algonquin College students through the Weston Family Scholarship in the Skilled Trades.

Through this initiative, 98 post-secondary students and 84 apprentices at Algonquin campuses in Ottawa, Perth and Pembroke benefited from financial awards, as well as professional, social, and academic support. The awards went to students pursuing careers in the transportation, manufacturing and construction sectors – industries currently undergoing a labour shortage across Canada.
