Student Experience
The Bachelor of Building Science Degree program at Algonquin College was launched in 2018 due to a specific demand from the industry for graduates with a holistic knowledge of buildings, and how they are designed, built, operated and maintained. Recently, the program underwent a transition to become the Bachelor of Science (Building Science). Although the name has changed, the program remains virtually the same, with an emphasis on delivering both the theoretical and practical (hand-on) knowledge which will allow our graduates to have success in a wide range of careers.
Our program draws in a wide range of students, with very diverse backgrounds. This creates a dynamic classroom/lab experience for all students and supports opportunities for students to learn not only from their professors, but also from one-another.
