Woof Pack

Welcome to Algonquin College’s Therapy Dog program, known as the Woof Pack! Starting in the Fall Term of 2024, the Woof Pack will bring together students, trained staff, and our fur-friends to create a positive environment on campus while supporting student success.

The Woof Pack is an in-house program designed to support and enhance the mental health and well-being of students and employees. Our team of friendly, professionally trained therapy dogs and their handlers are here to make your day brighter.

Whether you’re a student, a staff member, or just a dog lover, our therapy dogs are excited to meet you. Come experience the healing power of canine companionship.

Meet the Pack! (in-training)

Rue (Frenchton - 3y)

Rue is your typical Boston Terrier athlete with a French Bulldog energy level. This calming soul is perfect if you are nervous about dogs as she will melt your heart. She loves to say hello and wants to greet all the humans she meets.

Bongo (Chocolate Lab -1y)

Bongo is most excited to join our team. This big brother loves his people and wants to share his energy and love with everyone he meets. As a Labrador teenager, he loves to play, and his heart is as big as his personality.

Roo (Chocolate Lab -1y)

Roo is our newest member of the Pack! Like all Labradors, she aims to please with her quick wit and willingness to learn. Roo's tail is always wagging, and she will instantly brighten your day.
