The School of Advanced Technology is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for students to earn their Commercial Pilot Licence and a College Diploma with additional ratings in just 16 months!
Our Aviation Management Program is your Fast Track to a Commercial Pilot’s job and will be the starting point to launch your career in Aviation. This program is 60 weeks intensive training where students are immersed in academics and Flying the Aircraft every day.
Our rigorous flight training schedule delivered through the Ottawa Flying Club provides 250 hours of flight time experience. You also have the option to customize the fourth level to include a Seaplane Rating, Instructor Rating or a Multi Crew, Cruise Relief Pilot endorsement. The option is yours.
In response to the industry's desire to employ graduates with a strong background in business and management education, students can expect a solid foundation in business management which in effect allows our graduates to obtain work in various facets of the aviation industry including entry-level management positions.
To enhance employment opportunities our courses offer First Aid/CPR, Fuel Handling Certification, Aircraft Handling, Winter Operations Handling, Safety Management Systems, Wilderness Survival Training, Cockpit Resource Management, Maintenance Skills and Dispatching.
In keeping with our commitment to seek out opportunities for our graduates, First Air will be supporting our program by offering the First Air Achievement Award and the First Air Northern Skies Awards.
