Co-operative Education

The majority of our programs allow students the opportunity to learn from experience through field placements or clinical experiences. These placements provide valuable insight into the world of employment in your area of study. Another way to gain this exposure is through a Co-operative Education placement. Certain programs in business, computer studies and electronics allow you to take part in a paid work term as part of your program requirements.

Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship training at Algonquin College gives you the opportunity to learn a skilled trade in more than a dozen employment areas. You will combine practical, on-the-job experience with comprehensive in-school education as you learn from trained experts and through your own hands on experiences.
