Steps to Apply
First, Determine your College Eligibility
For admission to Algonquin College, you must meet ONE of the
following criteria:
• Possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) at or above the General Level, or its equivalent. (If you have an OSSD showing senior English or Mathematics courses at the Basic Level, Workplace or Open courses, you will be tested to determine your eligibility for admission);
OR
• Possess an Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE)
OR
• Qualify as a Mature Student. (If you are 19 years of age or older on the date your program begins, and you do not possess an OSSD or equivalent, you may be referred to the Test Centre for testing. This will help determine your ability to succeed in your chosen program. A fee of $40.00 will be charged.)
Then, Check to see if there are any additional Program Requirements
Most programs have additional admission requirements.
These may include:
• an academic prerequisite
• attendance at an information session
• submission of a portfolio
• completion of an essay, questionnaire, or entry testing

3. click on Admission Requirements on the left menu of the course page
