TRAVEL opportunties as part of the program: Four multi-day expeditions including canoe trip on the Ontario river system, fall hiking expedition in Algonquin Park; winter camping in the Ottawa Valley; sea kayaking expedition in Georgian Bay. In addition, students have an opportunity to travel to Costa Rica for an eco-tourism course where they get to apply hands-on learning in a fantastic exotic environment.

TRU recognizes that our students receive fantastic practical skills training and excellent classroom theory. Our Outdoor Adventure and Outdoor Adventure Naturalist graduates receive advanced standing in the Bachelor of Tourism Management degree program.
