- Blackboard
All courses at Algonquin College are supported by an online learning environment called Blackboard. Within these spaces, students and faculty communicate with each other and collaborate on projects.
- eClassrooms
At the Woodroffe Campus, there are around 100 elearning classrooms that are equipt with an internet connection, projector and access to Blackboard. There are also some eclassrooms at the Pembroke and Perth Campuses (see eClassroom List).
- Computer Labs
All campuses provide computer labs (Access Centres) at their locations. See where labs are located at the Woodroffe Campus.
- Mobile Learning (laptops)
Bring in your own laptops. Or, borrow one for use within the Learning Resource Centre (which includes the Online Learning Centre and the Library). To use your own laptop on campus, you will need an access key from ITS (Information Technology Services). Read about connecting your laptop to the internet.
- Wireless Network
Algonquin College provides wireless access to the internet and the College network at all three campuses. This allows for students to use their laptops almost anywhere on campus and connect to the network without having to be in a lab.
- Webmail
Students, faculty and staff can access their College email anywhere - at home or on-campus - as long as they have internet access. Through webmail, students can visit: http://webmail.algonquincollege.com to send and receive email.
- ACSIS
ACSIS is the Algonquin College Student/Staff Information System. It provides both students and staff accounts by which they can find out: their email address, course timetable, exam schedule, tuition balance etc. Connect to Student ACSIS and Staff ACSIS.
