| Databases |
Databases are an efficient way to find magazine/journal articles, statistics and legal cases as well as other resources, including e-books! Algonquin College has an extensive number of databases covering a broad variety of subjects and topics.
Important Notice - Especially for new students. Want to access the databases off campus (remotely)? Have you contacted the LRC to make sure your student card has been activated? Do you know your login and PIN number? Click HERE for more information on accessing databases from home (remote access)
Search By Database Name (A list of all the databases available alphabetically) Electronic
Journal Locator - Finding magazine, newspaper and journals titles in both print and electronic format at Algonquin College.
Why request an interlibrary Loan? You can use the Interlibrary loan services if you find a useful article for your research through a database, but the LRC does not have access to the full-text of the article. An Interlibrary loan is a request for the library to find a copy of the article for you from libraries outside of Algonquin. Tip sheets and guides for different database products |
