Rules and Regulations
There are rules that all users must follow in the MLL.

  • You must be currently studying in an Algonquin College language course. Always have your timetable with you, as you may be asked for your timetable at any time.

  • No food or drinks in the Lab (this includes water).

  • Use the language you are studying in the Lab at all times.  This includes speaking with classmates and Internet.  Working in the language you are studying while you are in the lab will help you learn that language faster.

  • Do not chat or play games on computer at any time.
  • Turn your cell phone off.  If you need to make or answer a call, do so outside of the Lab.
  • Do not email between 9am and 5pm.
  • Do not view inappropriate material (such as pornographic material).
  • When you borrow our resources (software, videos, books, etc.), you must leave an MMLC Lab Card or your Algonquin Student ID Card at the front desk. The resources must always stay in the lab - they cannot be taken home.
  • Bring your own printing paper. Printing paper must be blank (no lines or text) and without any holes. Other paper will damage the printers.
  • Leave the lab as neat and tidy as you found it.
  • Bring your own headphones.
