If you're a student and you're looking for a summer job, the Summer Jobs Service can help. Whether you are a high school, college or university student, the program will support your efforts to find summer employment.
A job fair is held each spring at Algonquin College and there are numerous job postings listed at the SJS office.
To be eligible for the Summer Jobs Program you must be:
- 15 to 24 years old (up to 29 if you have a disability)
- Returning to school in the fall
- Eligible to work in Ontario
The Summer Jobs Service Program is open to students all year round. You can access information on job searching, workshops and completing a resume on this web site, or you can visit one of our Job Connect offices in Renfrew County.
