Job Connect is a provincially-funded Employment Ontario program that assists Ontarians with finding employment. In Renfrew County, Job Connect is administered by Algonquin College and has offices in Pembroke, Renfrew and Arnprior. Job Connect also shares a resource centre with Rural Outreach Employment Services in Barry's Bay.

All Job Connect services are provided free to job seekers and employers. Our resource centres feature job postings, career information on jobs, college and university programs and apprenticeship training. Clients who use the resource centres can also gain assistance in preparing cover letters and resumes and have access to high speed internet and computers.

Our goal is to ensure you receive the assistance you expect when you walk into any of our Job Connect offices. We believe in providing our clients with the support required to advance their employment skills and we encourage clients to provide us with feedback on the service they receive from our staff. If you want to work, we want to help!

We have experienced and dedicated staff who are able to meet you in your own community. We also offer on-line service through our web page.

Our policy is that a person will be contacted within three working days of completing an application to the Job Connect program, no matter where they live in Renfrew County. This policy applies to both our written and electronic applications. Whenever possible, we can see people the same day they apply.

We believe in order to maintain excellent customer service, we need your feedback--good or bad, written or verbal. If requested, we will respond verbally to your comments within 24 hours.

Confidential satisfaction surveys may be completed by unemployed individuals, students and employers. These surveys are available in our resource centres, offices and through our staff if they are meeting you outside of our office environment. Your feedback helps us to improve our service!
