What is a ListServ?

A listserv - or mailing list - is an email based mailing list. A sender can send a message to 1 email address and reach a number of recipents. People subscribe to be included in this topic based email.

Who would use it?

• A class might use it to exchange email discussions.
• A club might use it for topic discussions.
• A department might use it to exchange and discuss information.
