In the Labs for the New Student All areas of the College have computer labs for students to learn and work . Some are dedicated to specific academic activities and not open to general student activity. Others are general open labs where no classes are taught and can be used by anyone at any time.
Access Labs - are open labs for all student and staff - Software List Printing - You can print in the labs with the P-Counter quota system Logging on - Any free computer is available for you to log onto if it is an open lab or "Access Center" . You should use your usename and password. Be sure to log off when you are done or someone may use your account. Rules - The rules for the lab are posted in the room or on this web page. Violators may be removed from the labs. Security - See our security tips Though not a lab, you can use the power and wireless in the work study desks found around the College.

Computer labs area available for teaching or general work space for staff and students. If you are a teacher you will be assigned a lab appropriate for your course needs. Some are dedicated to specific academic activities and not open to general student activity. Others are general open Access Labs where no classes are taught and can be used by anyone at any time.
In the Labs for Staff
E-classrooms - These are labs set up with multimedia capability at the teacher's station. There may also be student machines in the room. Support is through ITS at ext 2500. Some staff use the labs as extended office space and can use the printers. Go to global support area below

Deepfreeze - *** All lab computers have an application which resets the computer on logout. This removes any file or change on the computer including files you have saved. Never save to the hard drive - save to your N drive in the labs. *** Any file saved to C drive will be deleted when you log off. Software lists - For a list of which labs have which software go here Wireless vs cable - Wireless service is not guaranteed anywhere and you should use a network cable if the wireless signal is not adequate. Monitors - Computer labs have student monitors to assist you. They roam between the various rooms performing support and maintenance. The printers communicate any low toner or paper to them over the network and they visit the lab to assist either during or between class time.
