Black board is a communication, training, testing and file exchange environment used by students and staff in the college.

Capacity:
What , if any, quota or capacity does a user get?

For students and staff there is 150M for each course they are teaching or learning.

Get account:
How do you get an account on this system?

Your Blackboard account is created at the same time as your NT account.

Del account:
How or when is the account deleted?

Your Blackboard account is deleted at the same time as your NT account.

Authentication needed?
Do you have to be authenticate to the College network by dial-up or vpn to use this system?

Authentication is not needed, you can access Blackboard from anywhere.

Staff? Student?:
Is it a staff system, student system? Or both.

This system is used by both.

Backup/Restore? :
What are the backup features and how can clients benefit?

Blackboard data is maintained by ITS and can be restored.
