Please note that the yellow side line indicates you are in a general support area - not specifically student(purple) or staff(orange). Some documents will contain more than one area/color for different visitor groups.

Black board is a communication, training, testing and file exchange environment used by students and staff in the College.

Support issues include:

• If your browser security settings are too high it may prevent access to Blackboard.
• If you are on a network outside the College their security may prevent access to Blackboard. Commonly people working at a government site or private company find they can not access Blackboard at the office.
• BlackBoard servers are disconnected for service from 3am-4am each morning so please plan your activities accordingly.

Forgot your Blackboard password?

Your Blackboard username and password will always be the same as the ones you use to log into the College computers.

It is the same password as your NT Network log in. Students can go to ACSIS to view their username and pin number. Staff and students can both visit or call the ITS Help Desk with their staff or student ID and it will be reset.

The Other Blackboard

Don't confuse Algonquin Blackboard with the Ontario Learn Blackboard. If you are given a username that starts with "al_" it is for the Ontario Learn site.
