The Role of the system in the College.

ACSIS is a web interface to the student and course information gathered by the Genesis system.

Capacity:
What , if any, quota or capacity does a user get?

Get account:
How do you get an account on this system?

Each person gets an account the first time the enroll in a course.

Del account:
How or when is the account deleted?

The account is never deleted, even after you complete your course or finish teaching a course.

Authentication needed?
Do you have to be authenticate to the College network by dial-up or vpn to use this system?

For students you do not have to authenticate the the College network to access ACSIS. Staff do need to be authenticated to access the staff ACSIS.

Is it a staff system, student system? Or both.

It is both a student and staff system.

What are the backup features and how can clients benefit?

ACSIS is supported by ITS and the registrar's office
