The NT network is the vehicle by which all other systems are accessed. It enables or disables contact with different systems and allows those systems to communicate with each other. It allows you to log onto the College computers and use the Internet as well as email and many other functions.

Most staff get an account when they are hired.
Most student get one when they enroll in a course requiring computer access.
Del account:
How or when is the account deleted?
Student accounts are deleted when they leave the course or one semester after they graduate from a program.
Staff accounts are normally deleted when they leave the College. But retirees keep theirs for life.
Authentication needed?
Do you have to be authenticate to the College network by dial-up or vpn to use this system?
By using dial-up or VPN from off-campus you authenticate to the NT network which grants access to other systems.
