Q. I am a student and don't see a username and/or password in ACSIS

A. If you have paid an IT Fee you will get an account in the first few days of the semester. Then the username and password will appear. Visit ITS or the Registrar for assistance.

Q. I am a student I see a password but no username in ACSIS

A. A password is entered whether you get an account or not.

Q. When I try to log in to the computer why do I get an error message.

A. Issues may include:

  • "Account Locked, see administrator" - Too many failed login attempts. Wait half an hour.
  • "Woodroffe domain not found" - Try another computer and report that one to ITS
  • "Wrong username or password" - Check CAP-Lock, Check ACSIS to verify, type carefully - If all else fails contact ITS
  • "Account disabled, see administrator" - Your account has been disabled for a variety of reasons. Contact ITS.

Q. I am staff and my manager doesn't have my username and password.

A. Visit ITS with one piece of photo ID and we can give you your information.

Q . What do I do if I think someone has my username and password?

A. Change your password and if appropriate, report problems to Algonquin security.

Q. I can log into the computer but my <XXXXX> doesn't work.

A. Go to the section for support for the system that is not working to see what you can do.
