Work orders - How and Why
ITS uses a work order (WO) system to record client requests and track what happens to that request.
The Work Order is our method of recording your information and the details of our response from beginning to end. On occasion, we use the information we collect in the Work Orders to analyze and improve our service delivery to you.
It is very important to us that we do the job to your satisfaction and if we don't, please tell us.

Your Information
When you contact us, our representative will need basic information about you and the problem or request. Depending on the issue you will be asked for:
- Your network username
- Your phone number or extension and MAC address.
- Your room number (office, residence or classroom)
- The barcode on the computer
- Your student number or staff number (On your staff or student card)
- The problem, symptoms or request details
The problems details should have full and accurate information to ensure that we can address your requirement quickly and efficiently.
How to see your Work Order
WO search - to look up any work orders you have submitted
How long will my request take?
Most Work Orders are processed as quickly and efficiently as possible keeping in mind that our work load and the nature of your request will have an impact on how and when we respond.
We are continually evaluating what we do and how we do it in an attempt to improve. Please fill in a feedback survey if you wish to make a suggestion or comment.
