Algonquin Enhances Educational Access through Collaborative Programs Abroad

Algonquin's IEC works in partnership with post-secondary educational institutions overseas to increase access to high quality technical education and training. Algonquin diploma programs are offered in India, South Africa, and Montenegro. Collaborative education programs with colleges and universities abroad are supported by faculty exchanges and teacher training.

In India, Algonquin and the Manav Rachni Educational Institute have partnered to deliver six Algonquin programs, including the Mechanical Technician-Tool Making, Mechanic Engineering Technology, Advertising, Journalism, Graphic Design, and Aviation Management programs. The programs are delivered at the Indo-Canadian School of Advanced Technology in the city of Faridabad, Haryana outside of New Delhi. To date, more than 100 students have graduated from the programs in India.
