Student Success Specialists provide support and resources to help students achieve their academic and personal goals. We work closely with coordinators, faculty and Student Services to help students have a positive and fulfilling learning experience.

  • Provide guidance for students with registration, timetable changes, course drop/add, program transfers, overall student issues.
  • Assist students in adapting to college life.

Peer Tutoring

Get a Tutor and Succeed!
This service is designed to help students who are experiencing difficulties in certain courses. Students are matched with trained senior students for one-to-one tutoring.

Study Workshops

Throughout the academic year, Counselling Services offers seminars and workshops in various areas of study skills.

  • Time Management
  • Effective Reading
  • Taking Notes
  • Preparing for Exams etc.

Student Support Lab

This is a place where you can come for support in English, Math, Computer skills and learning strategies.  It is a quiet area where students can come to work either one on one or in a small group with a Student Support Lab member. Together you create a learning plan in areas you wish to improve or get support with new learning strategies.
