Parking Infraction Appeals
Algonquin College issues City of Ottawa Parking Infraction Notices to vehicles which are parked in contravention of the Algonquin parking regulations or City of Ottawa bylaws, while on Algonquin College property. The Parking Infractions are served to ensure the safeguarding of the rights of individuals who have paid and are parked legally at Algonquin parking facilities.
Any person who has been served with a notice or parking infraction at any of the Algonquin College campuses has the right to file an Appeal. A filed Appeal does not indicate that the infraction will be cancelled.
YOU HAVE FIVE (5) DAYS FROM THE ISSUING OF THE TICKET TO COMPLETE THE APPEAL FORM
The Appeal form contains directions on how to complete the form, what information is required, as well as the time period in which to file an Appeal to the Algonquin Parking Office. All Appeal forms must be fully completed and submitted to the Parking Office within five (5) days to qualify for the Appeal, or the infraction will be upheld.
There are four 30 minute loading zone parking spaces outside of C-building available for those wishing to file an Appeal with the Parking Office at C-044a.
IF YOUR TICKET IS UPHELD BY THE APPEALS OFFICER YOU MAY FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BACK OF THE PARKING INFRACTION NOTICE TO APPEAL IT THROUGH THE CITY OF OTTAWA OR E-MAIL appeals@algonquincollege.com
