Google+ Products

Google+ has a variety of products that help you to make effective use of the social network. With Google+, you are able to create, publish and share text, videos, and images, host live video chats, and discover topics and conversations.

Profile
Your profile is where other Google+ users can find your basic information. You can add a profile photo to help people recognize you, and add a short bio and other details about who you are. Google+ also lets you manage who can interact with you and your posts, who can tag you in photos, when you’d like to receive notifications and more.

Circles
Circles make it easy to share the right content only with the people you choose. You can share certain things with close friends, others with your family, and other things with work colleagues. Circles also let you filter what people are sharing so you can catch up with just the people you want to, when you want to. Circles are an easy way to organize the people you know on Google+.

Communities
Communities are groups of Google+ users that focus around a particular interest. Members of a community can post photos and videos, plan events, or have video discussions using Hangouts. You can start your own community or join other communities and exchange information and make connections. Communities can be private or public.

Photos
Google+ has many photo features including photo galleries, sharing and basic photo editing. You can upload photos from your computer or take a photo with your smart phone and upload it directly to Google+.

Hangouts
Hangouts allow you to have group conversations via text or video with up to 9 other people. Hangouts are available across a variety of desktop and mobile devices. There is also a live streaming feature for Hangout called Hangouts On Air that lets you broadcast live and upload your Hangout directly to YouTube for later playback.

Events
With Google+ Events, you can set up an event and create a custom invitation to other Google+ users to become part of the event. Everyone can then contribute their photos of the event to one photo collection. Party Mode lets you share photos from the event in real time. You can also sync events to a Google Calendar, and organize a Google Hangout during the event so people who can’t be there in person can still participate.

Local
Google+ Local is a ratings and review tool for local businesses. You can see reviews of restaurants and stores that your friends like, and connect easily to maps and ratings. You can also share your own experiences and photos of businesses.
