How to Register

Fall 2006 classes begin the week of September 11, 2006 unless otherwise indicated.

Winter 2007 classes begin the week of January 8, 2007 unless otherwise indicated.
(No classes September 4, October 9, 2006 - January 1, April 6 and May 21, 2007)

6 Convenient Ways to Register

NOTE:
Before registering in a course, please ensure that you have the required prerequisites.

Please note that registration for both Fall and Winter terms comsed on Monday, June 19, 2006. Register early to avoid the disappointment of your course being full.

 

1. ON-LINE * www.algonquincollege.com

From the College homepage, click on OnCourse, Algonquin College's School of Part-time Studies Catalogue. Once you have located your theme area, program and course, click on the Apply On-line button to the right of the course section into which you wish to register.

A Shopping Cart of your selected courses will appear. Click Add More Courses to add more courses to your Shopping Cart. Click Sign Me Up to enter your registration information and credit card number (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).

Complete the registration form in full, including payment information, and submit the registration. You will immediately receive notification from us confirming your transaction. On-line registration begins Monday, August 8, 2005 at 8:30 a.m.

2. BY FAX 613-727-7754 (using your VISA, MasterCard or American Express).

Complete the registration form, and fax any time. A bank of fax machines is available to provide continual fax service. A receipt and timetable will be mailed to you.

Due to volume, we are unable to confirm receipt of faxes.

3. BY MAIL (using Cheque, VISA, MasterCard or American Express).

Complete the registration form. Make cheque payable to Algonquin College, and mail to:

1385 Woodroffe Avenue,
Ottawa, Ontario
K2G 1V8.

Please mail at least 2 weeks prior to your course start date.

4. BY PHONE - 613-727-0002, or TOLL FREE 1-800-565-4723 (using your VISA, MasterCard or American Express).

Please have course and section number, date, fee, Student ID number and your credit card information available when calling.

Telephone registration hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday to Friday.

5. IN PERSON - Room C150, Woodroffe Campus (Please bring Photo I.D.)

                               

- Monday to Thursday
   8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Friday
   8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Closed on Statutory holidays.

This number is for use of hearing impaired clients only and is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday.

NOTES

  • Post-dated cheques cannot be accepted and will be returned to you.
  • There is a $25.00 charge for cheques returned from the bank. Clients remain registered and responsible for payment of fees. Cheques returned from the bank are not considered to be official withdrawals.
