Second Year Press Lab -

Printing projects on one and two colour presses is the most exciting part of producing printed material and students can see the individual colours come together to produce a full colour product. Presses include a Heidelberg QM46 and a Heidelberg GTO-52-P where students practice and learn on the industries most up to date equipment.

Mac Lab Binery Lab
Mac Lab - The main computer lab in Print Media holds 30 Mac computers although the printing industry and the college use both platforms. This provides our students with experience so that they are confident on either platform and can meet the needs of employers. This lab is available to students to work on projects when no classes are scheduled and on evening and weekends. Bindery Lab - Every printed job must be finished in some way. The Bindery Lab includes our equipment to fold, score, number, drill or glue and we can bind books using the perfect binding method, cerlox or coil as well as saddle stitch. This lab also contains our sign making equipment where students can create banners, or text and graphics with vinyl.
