Veterinary Technician Program

Important Message Regarding Rabies Vaccines

All students who have been offered admission into the Veterinary Technician program should have received the pre-exposure Rabies vaccines prior to starting the program in September. However, because the vaccine is in short supply this year some students may have difficulty getting vaccinated before the beginning of school. Students who are in this situation will still be permitted to start the program in September but will be required to sign a waiver form indicating that they were unable to acquire the Rabies vaccine. Should the vaccine become available during the academic year, students must ensure that they get fully vaccinated at that time.
