How many people are accepted into the program each September?
In the Fall of 2007 we expect to take in 60 first year students.
Why is Algonquin's program three years while private schools are only two?
Because our program occurs over an academic year (8 month) schedule rather than year round, it takes longer. Also, because you receive a college diploma as well as being prepared to write provincial certification exams, there is more coursework in the community college programs.
Will I be registered when I graduate?
No, by graduating from a recognized school of massage therapy, you qualify to write the provincial examinations to become certified/licensed.

Because the graduate works by the hour in Massage Therapy, the average depends on the hours the therapist makes him/herself available and the type of placement they secure. Those in independent practice average about $34,000 the first few years and can go up from there as their clientele grows.
